‘Shaka Sunshine’, Kikidoll's 2018 collection, will rise and shine in early Spring 2018.
Casting back to carefree beach days spent in Honolulu's endless sunshine, when the call of the big, rolling blue waves of the great Pacific that surrounds Hawaii summoned the founder of Kikidoll, Kikidoll’s sunny, sassy collection captures the essence of sun-drenched days at the beach, catching a wave and chilling out with a surfer chic vibe.Mixing soft and sugar-sweet pastels and prints in nude skin-toned pinks and corals, jazzed up with some loud pops of Kikidoll's Hawaiian tropical prints in neon, Kikidoll’s 2018 collection features joyful prints of shells, flora and fauna so abundant in the islands. As usual with Kikidoll, there is always a Polynesian tribal motif--this collection features another gypset version of kapa cloth.
Silhouettes are sleek and fit like second skin in silky imported Lycra, Glideskin neoprene and French Terry, all sporting the Kikidoll trademark tropical prints, edged or piped with 70's hippie hallmark touches of fringe, lacings or tassels, and some 90's nods, with mesh inserts and slashed-to-there onesies. Kikidoll's customary crop top rashies and hip-laced beach hipster trousers help to invoke the laid-back beach-chic style of the beaches of Waikiki for taking the boho look from beach to bistro.
Kikidoll is proudly featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for six consecutive years-- SI Swimsuit 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 and 2011. Kikidoll is also seen in SELF, FOAM, Surfing Magazine, Surfing Magazine Swimsuit, SurfGirl and other monthly magazines.
